Topper arrived with Evie yesterday. She was very bouncy but Topper was a bit more hesitant. Hope he's settling in ok. Xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It started off with only two of us feeding and cleaning, so very time consuming, I really don't think people know what is actually involved and how long it takes to maintain the kennels, very difficult when you are short of volunteers, on occasion there are only two of us throughout the day. We were then joined by lovely Emily one of our placement students from the last academic year, she finished her course and continued to volunteer. She sadly will be doing her third year elsewhere, although she may still be able to come in on a Wednesday afternoon. Thanks as always to our Wednesday walkers and the extra volunteers who came in to help. The work and support of our volunteers is invaluable. Thanks to everyone who supports us and gives their time up. We are eternally grateful and appreciate your hard work. We had two new arrivals this afternoon. Topper are handsome white and black boy and a very lively black girl Evie. Both are gorgeous. Two more new arrivals tomorrow. We were also informed that Wonky has a pet name of Cindy, thankfully that will end any confusion at the kennels! Once again we would like to thank everyone for their continued support, sometimes it can be a challenge. X
