2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Hi all you lovely people out there that support us. We have run very short of tinned, tray, and pate dog food. If you are able to donate any to the kennels our residents would be really grateful. They do love a little variety . Thanks in advance. X

Eric had a belated birthday walk around Brueton Park on Sunday and as before showed himself to be a wonderful boy, so happy to be out and about - not at all bothered about a bit of rain. He was well behaved around other dogs, and just wanted to see and smell everything.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A bright sunny day today, all dogs that could go on walks went both morning and afternoon. The post op dogs had a gentle meander around the sand run. Lovely Dessy went home, hope all goes well for him and his new mom. It was very quiet for visitors, well, holiday season is upon us. We have so many beautiful hounds looking for their forever homes. My wish is for some homing for our longer stayes. I will have Angie try and work her magic with her magic screensaver (it has always worked in the past)!! Lucy came in after dropping her beautiful Ellie at the vets for a procedure, hoping all went well. Whilst she was there she had a booking for a pamper for gorgeous Caddy followed by a photo shoot. She then had a request from Helen and Dave two of our Wednesday walkers for a photoshoot for their lovely Millie. I received the very sad news that sadly another grey had crossed over Rainbow Bridge this morning. God bless Blue his newest angel. Thinking of her family, shine bright tonight special one. X Thanks to Dave for tackling the bedding store, it looks so much better! Good news, Ruth was discharged from hospital today following her surgery on Monday. We all wish her a very speedy recovery. For now she needs to rest and recuperate, so little Tig is spending a few days with Auntie Denise. Best wishes, x Sometimes it is difficult to remember everything that happens throughout the day, hopefully I have not missed anyone out!! Take care all. X

A very busy day today but everyone got morning and afternoon walks. :)) Sad to see Dewey returned today, but hopefully a new home will soon be hers. Xxx Great to see See Blossom go off to her new home. Thanks so much to Lucy and Shirley for being in charge while Richard and I dropped Blossom off at her new home. Xx Louis came for a visit, he met several ot the dogs, Willis was especially good with him. :)) Thanks so much to everyone for their help today Xxx

A big cuddle to Blosom today. Richard and I had the pleasure of taking Blossom to her new owners home. She has a lovely garden to play in and a lovely new Greyhound sister called Maggie. she also has a new name Rose. :)) When we left her she was happily playing with Maggie. Wishing them both lots of great times together. Xxx

Very sadly Dewey has been returned to the kennels today. Despite every effort from her family over the last few months, Dewey hasn't settled with them and they feel she is unhappy and have asked if we can find her a home in which she feels more comfortable. They were very upset things haven't worked out for them all but feel it's the right thing to do for Dewey. Xxx
