This is one cool dude I just love the way that he lies on his back watching the upside down world going about its business. He loves cuddles, he walks really well on the lead and quite enjoys a cheeky play. Cuddles for him xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We have started a Memory book for Sara and a collection. If you would like to pop along to the kennels to leave a message, we would appreciate it. Sara’s funeral is on Tuesday 30th April 2019 at 11.30am at Yardley Crematorium.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was great to see Honey and Jordan reserved today! Xxx Cara was a very brave girl when she had her review at the vets this morning. Her tail is healing well, even though it's now a very short tail. She is such a very cute and dainty little girl. Xx Ruth's little Tig had another swim at the Hydrotherapy pool...it really does wear her out. She was very quiet this afternoon! :))) Thanks so much to Lucy and her various assistants for taking new photos of some of the dogs and thanks to Bob for letting us use his garden for the backdrop. They are great! Xx Lyra had to use some of her pocket money to pay for a fluffy octopus toy she stole from the office yesterday! She was wandering around the kennels while I was locking up last night and came running back to the kitchen mouth full of Octopus looking very impressed with herself! :)) Xxx

Hector

Hector has finally worked out stairs! He hasn't been at all interested up to now, even though our 3 go up and down regularly. But yesterday we found him halfway up with all 4 legs spread eagled like Bambi on ice!! He slid down backwards (!!!) and then tried again and managed to go up in a very ungainly fashion on his third attempt. He was too scared to come down though and Paul and I had to push and pull using his lead and a treat and then he managed it. He's now a regular visitor upstairs and slowly getting quicker and better at it. He quickly found the bed but seems happier to lie on a bed on the floor. Such a lovely boy - and still looking for his forever home 🙂 xx

Cara had a check on her tail this morning. The vet seems happy with how it is healing and has said to leave it open to the air now. Just got to make sure she leaves it alone although so far she doesn't seem to be bothered. I do hope the hair starts to grow on her tail soon though because at the moment it looks quite rude!
