I have just shrieked with joy, obviously too loud as my boys think we must have won the lottery and lots of treats will be heading their way!!! Way to go Rockstar....I knew you could do it. You will be greatly missed but after all your training you now deserve that special sofa. We wish you all many happy years together. Seana, Melly & Teddy xxx

Ruby Rebel went to Crufts! He's been doing Saturday morning training with Julie's group and was ready for his Bronze Good Citizen test, which we wanted to do at Crufts for the experience and to promote greyhounds as great pets. In the test he did not sit still for a minute in the unfamiliar surroundings so didn't pass the test but apart from that was his perfect self all day long.

Oh Rocky, I'm so pleased for you. Will definitely miss your happy little face at the kennels but you so deserve your own home. Be a very good boy and enjoy your retirement.

I agree with Jembob, Treaty is a fabulous lad! He really loves a cuddle before we leave in the evening! The students on Mondays fight over who will walk him! There must be a sofa with his name on it somewhere. Xxx

  • 2019 Daybreaks Diary!

    I’m Homed

We had a really busy day today. The time just flew by! It was really windy first thing, Ruth and I had to take down one of the Gazebos in the sand run before it took off never to be seen again. :)) Little Tig and her Momma came in with Ruth and spent the day in the office. It's so hard to keep a very happy, bouncy girl quiet so she doesn't do any damage to her poorly leg! She did settle for a while laying on top of her Momma. :)) So very cute. Xx We had viewings for the dogs and it was brilliant to see Rhaegal reserved. She has a lovely home waiting for her. Torc has gone home with friends of ours for the night. 🙂 He has been very down having to wear a muzzle and a cone to stop him pulling the dressing off his tail. It's nice for him to have a change of scene. :)) Thanks so much to everyone for all their help today. Sara and Louis came in and some of our Greyhounds were introduced to Louis. They were all very good with him. A big thank you to Jess for clipping Skips nails for me and to Stacy for helping me to pick him up for the job to be done! He really doesn't find it an enjoyable experience! Bless him. :)) Xxx
