Thanks to Lucy for the great photos of new boy Mikey! He has been a poorly boy over the last few months. His trainer has worked very hard to nurse him back to health. He does need a wheat and soya free diet but this wouldn't be difficult to achieve. His trainer has said she is happy to offer advice to anyone who is interested in offering her special lad a home. Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

We welcomed two new arrivals to Daybreaks this morning 🙂 Thanks so much to Bob and Richard for collecting them from the track for us. Mikey is a gorgeous boy and a lot smaller than fellow Brindle resident Freddie...they would make a great couple! :)) Rhaegal is a very pretty little girl. I am told she named after one of the Dragons from Game of Thrones. Xx Lucy had seven bathings today! Pam and Rosie brought their lovely lads and lasses for a pamper before they go off to Crufts to help promote Greyhounds as Pets. Have fun everyone. 🙂 Lucy's last two clients of the day were our new arrivals. She went home with wrinkly fingers! ;)) We managed to get all the dogs out for morning walks but it was a very wet and cold afternoon, so afternoon walks were cancelled and they came out in the small runs for a play and a groom instead. Lovely to see Buster go home today. He looked very handsome dressed all in red. Do hope all goes well for him and his new family. Xx Thank you to the people who visited the kennels with donations of bedding today. So kind of you. Xx Many thanks to Alan and Lewis for doing the warehouse run for us today and to everyone for all your help. So very grateful. :)) Xxx

Poor Torc, we know about tail issues Breeze’s is only about 5” - she broke it and after bandages were put on she chewed the bandage and unfortunately she chewed her tail as well! Nasty but the pain killers must have been working. Xxx

I met this lovely big lad today. So handsome and looking very sweet with a plastic bone in his mouth. I hope he finds his forever soon and people aren't put off by his size. He's gorgeous!! Xx

I saw Buster go off to his new home today - though he took a bit of cajoling to leave the comfy bed under the office table and go out into the rain! His new mum was so excited to take him home. He'll have a lovely time with her and his new hubrother and his new life will be one long tummy rub! 🙂 xx
