Well Nicol I can't believe you are still here. Nicol came on our Roadshow at Pets at home last week and considering the new surroundings she was an absolute star. She seemed fine with Other breeds and small Dogs,absolutely fine with small children and adults alike. I believe she will be a Greyt addition to any home.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

It was a quiet day for visitors today, but we did have a visit from a van load of doggies from the Isle of Man to use the sand run!! They are over for Crufts and were happy to let the doggies have a blast around the run. The morning started with an unexpected Vet run, as Jo had to take poor Torq who had managed to remove the bandage from his tail overnight and made it bleed again - the walls were splattered in blood!! The poor lad has another course of antibiotics, lets hope these do the trick this time. He was such a good boy at the Vet, meeting a Golden Labrador with no problem at all. x The rain held off and meant the residents could have two good walks - thank you to those who came along to help out. Lots of health checks and weighings were done by our students, and I had a bit of a blitz of the bedding store which is full to bursting! With so many doggies in residence we do go through a lot of bedding and are very grateful for all donations - just occasionally though we could do with a bigger store!! Ares spent the day at the kennels again today, sometimes out the back on his own and sometimes in the office. He is such a sweetheart, loving any fuss that came his way and was no trouble at all, lying down and falling asleep on the floor so we had to step over him!! Here's hoping he can find a forever home soon. The weather is yukky so it's a glass of red wine for today's toast - to all our beautiful boys & girls, may their forever homes be just around the corner. xx Enjoy your weekend everyone - cheers!
