The people come and they just pass by What can I do I think with a sigh I am very handsome with a waggy tail Maybe a pleading look, that shouldn't fail I have plenty of kisses and leaning to do Oh come on guys, just form a que I fought my way back after a dreadful time I just need a mom and dad now to be ALL mine. love from Nick I am thinking of forming a lonely hearts club for the black boys if we don't find forever homes soon, It worked for Sargent Pepper !!! lol We are all so fab xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Teddy had a lovely time in the kitchen today, he had lots of other Greyhounds for company...Skip, Ellie, Sarah and Willow. :)) Thanks so much to Norman for taking Ice and Turbo for their first visit to the park this morning. They both had a great time. 🙂 We had a lot visitors to use the run today including a very lively 14 month old Boxer. By the time she finished her face was covered in sand including her tongue...she was a great advertisement to show other dogs how much fun it is! :)) Thanks to Lucy for the new photos of some of our residents. 🙂 Our boys are very handsome! Ruth was busy sewing this afternoon, finishing off costumes for the show next month. 🙂 Please come along and support their hard work! Tickets are available from the kennels Xx Thanks to everyone for their help today. :)) Xxx

Over the Rainbow Bridge
Ice today paid his first visit to Elmdon Park. He is a lovely lively lad who enjoys life to the full. He jumped straight into the car and travelled well to the park. He's quite lively on the lead and when meeting other breeds he did bark at them but with curiosity not aggresssion. Hopefully he will find a home to give him the active life he wil be suited to best

Sometimes you come across a dog thats ticks all the plus boxes and Turbo definitely comes into that category. I took him to Elmdon park today and he behaved in a perfect manner from the moment he left the kennels. He jumped in the car unaided,travelled quietly and in the park he walked well on the lead and behaved impeccably when meeting other breeds. A fabulous dog who will enrich the lives of whoever eventually adopts him.

Teddy met a Beagle today. He was great with her 🙂 He is such a funny lad...after going for a wee, he was trying to show off and wipe his feet in the sand but his coordination was not the best 🙂 He was trying to wipe both back feet at the same time and ended up doing a strange little dance!! Xxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
Teddy had a check up with his vet this morning . He was such a good boy, jumped in the car and settled down for a snooze 🙂 The vet said his paw is looking good but wants to leave the stitches in for another week. He had another snooze on the way back to the kennels! Bless him. He spent the day in the kitchen with my Skip.:) x We had a lot of volunteers today. All the dogs had two good walks in the autumn sunshine. Barney came for a visit this afternoon. He looked great! Thanks so much to everyone for their help. Xxx

Teddy loves people, he is one of the friendliest dogs and I have never seen him grumpy even with his sore paw. It was lovely to see him today without his bandage. Smashing boy xx
