2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Well jet and I (and my husband...we had to bring him this year as hed sponsored a class and wanted to see...otherwise he'd have been left at home!) Had a wonderful time as always at the show today. So lovely to see all the hounds and the beautiful kennel dogs. Roary has totally stolen my heart and so hoping he gets a he soon cannot understand why he's been overlooked. I was talking to hat and petals mom and her friend in one of our classes and we were putting the world to rights on 'why don't people want these black dogs'. All being owners of black dogs we just can't understand it and think we need to start a campaign to get their profile up lol! Let's hope today will see some of you beauties get your well deserved homes xxx

Oh roary, roary, roary, why are you still in kennels? We did the best brace with you at the show today and what a perfect gentleman you were! It was my jet been the goon and jumping around when walking for the judge, you just happily plodded along just happy to be there. Unfortunately we didn't get a rossete but don't know why as you were both pretty identically marked but I saw you later with a special rossete which you most certainly are. The lady who had brought you said you had had no real interest at the kennels but can't understand for the life of me why. From what I saw you're a golden boy who should 100% be given a chance. I was giving you lots of kisses and you have totally pulled on my heart strings. Please someone out there be the lucky ones to take this boy home, he'll be well worth it! Lots of love xxxxxx

We spent a little time walking with Nick at the dog show today. He is the most handsome looking hound and is totally deserving of his own home soon.

Teddy

Teddy came with us to the dog show today and was the easiest boy to have around. Although reluctant to jump into the car (why jump when you have someone prepared to lift you!), he settled down without a moan and was happy to share with Ice. He has lovely manners around all breeds of dog and was more interested in leaning in for a cuddle as he tired quite quickly on the walk around. He was lovely with our two young children and they were both very taken with him - he would be a perfect family dog and clearly enjoys the company of people. He saw lots of other breeds and showed very little interest and was happy to be sniffed by all. He decided the journey back to his comfy bed was worth it and jumped straight into the car and lay down. This boy definitely deserves a sofa soon.

Horace (Ice)
Over the Rainbow Bridge
This gorgeous boy joined us for the dog show today and he is just stunning! He isn't the biggest of boys and his gorgeous markings attracted lots of attention, even covered up in a nice warm coat. He jumped straight in the car and was more than happy to share with Teddy - sitting on him when he wanted to get comfortable. He was great with our two young children and happy to receive any affection given. He was a little interested in the small fluffy ones and has a very cute way of putting up one ear but not the other. His interest extended to a bark but he didn't pull and happily sniffed a dalmation to say hello. When we returned to the car he jumped straight in and lay down, happy to rest after all the fun.A really lovely boy.
