Met up with Barney at Daybreaks earlier for a hurtle round the run, well I say hurtle but after a few goes it became a lollop! We gave love out to everyone there including a group of young ladies who had raised lots of money doing a cake sale! I kinda like Ice...... TC can we!?? Lubs Florence xx

What lovely newcomers to Daybreaks. I just hope that the hounds who have been waiting patiently for a while don't get overlooked.They are all such great dogs and I do love the big black boys. , They do seem to get on with each other well. I think Fat neck Finn would have liked a brother as Nina is a bit of a controlling big sister, not that he takes any notice of her.lol

Poor Teddy, as you say hopefully he will be better off (no pun intended). My little girl Sarah had one of her toes amputated yesterday, it was discovered she had a fracture and the vet decided this would be the best course of action. I now have 2 girls with a missing toe, both on the same foot!

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

A busy day today - fortunately Ruth was feeling a little better and was able to do a vet run this afternoon with Teddy. His poorly paw is just not getting any better and so the Vet has decided to amputate his toe - hopefully this will cure the problem and he will be able to walk and play in comfort again and without his boot!!! No volunteers this morning meant sand run playtime for the boys & girls. Rocky was not impressed that he couldn't join in bless him, oh he did give me "a look"!!! This morning saw the gorgeous Shiftie signed up, and her Mum & Dad become the latest members of the FFP club! She adores her brother Nifty and is learning the ropes from him. She has a lovely new name too, Cilla, as shouting "Nifty" & "Shiftie" was getting a bit confusing! Our newcomers are all settling well and are all gorgeous, especially Clodie who is a beautiful happy little girl who gives out lovely kisses. We had volunteers a plenty this afternoon so the boys & girls enjoyed a walk down the lane. Many thanks. Well, a busy weekend ahead as our Dog Show is on Sunday. If you would like to take one of the kennel dogs to the show we would be very grateful. It is a great opportunity for them to get out and about and socialise, and who knows - maybe find themselves a forever home. Please give the kennels a call if you can help us out. After such a busy day I am going to enjoy my usual glass or two of wine - have a great weekend everyone. Cheers! Angie x
