Ahhh, lovely photos Sara! Look how patient she was when we were being silly (donut toy on head photo.) Such a cute, shy little girl! 🙂 xx

If you have an hour (or a day) to spare Marty would love you to give him cuddles. He is a very special boy who will be a wonderful companion for the lucky person who gives him his forever sofa. Massive cuddle for him tonight xxx

Teddy was a very good boy when he had his health check today. He was very easy to handle even allowing me to clean his teeth. He has super soft fur, he walks gently on the lead and is a bright intelligent boy. xxx

I had the pleasure of meeting, cuddling and walking this beautiful girl who is going to be 4 on Saturday. She is such a gentle little soul and she walked so nicely this afternoon. She loved being fussed and is a bit of a leaner. Wouldn't it be great if she got a forever home for her birthday?x

Teddy
I’m Homed
Gorgeous Teddy came to Elmdon Park with me today. Unfortunately the first two dogs we met lunged at him and made him jump. The first one made him run away to the very end of his lead! It seems odd to see a greyhound running away from a small fluffy dog!! He didn't however react to either dog to his credit. We carried on walking and met several other dogs ( including a toy poodle also called Teddy!) and his manners were impeccable. He can be noisy in his kennels (please don't let this put you off) but was very laid back in the park. He didn't mind saying hello to other dogs but I also got the impression he would have been happy to just keep walking too (although maybe he was just wary after his earlier experience). He's another handsome boy, who enjoyed all the fuss he got in the park (from children and adults). A pleasure to be with and he did make me laugh trying to get into the car. He just didn't really get it and seemed quite confused about how to go about jumping in. Think he might need to practise a few times with the family lucky enough to bag him xx

Leo
I’m Homed
Lovely Leo came with me to Elmdon Park today. He jumped in the car happily and settled well, although he needed considerable persuasion to get back in the car at the end. I think he enjoyed being out and didn't want to go back to his kennel!! He met lots of dogs of all sizes and came nose to nose with a Yorkie, Pomeranian and another fluffy dog, who insisted on jumping up him several times to say hello. He didn't even bat an eyelid, which was impressive. He is quite a big boy and we did meet some dogs who were a bit nervous of him. This meant he was quite disappointed that he couldn't say hello. He's a sociable chap!! Leo also met several children and happily stood to accept fuss. He's a very happy and handsome boy, who is ready to have his own family and start his new life. Don't be put off if he is making noise in his kennel - didn't hear a peep out of him when we were out . Good luck Leo xx

Barney
Over the Rainbow Bridge
Your only asking her for one playmate for Barney? I think that's very reasonable of you. My husband allowed me 3 more so we ended up with 4 fabulous hounds. Now I am not suggesting your wife goes that far, as my husband named the last of the 4 "Ollie" (as in "another fine mess you got me into" Laurel & Hardy lol. 2 black beauties walking together are fab such a manly vision. Maybe she is afraid you will be stopped by too many woman to admire them LOL only joking. Look who Diddy found what a great couple.

2019 Daybreaks Diary!
I’m Homed
Thanks Jo for the Daybreaks update..... sadly the Trust van failed its MOT and needs quite a bit of money spending on it.... however it is our work horse and it got Roxy to the vets yesterday afternoon for her post op check and Treaty for his booster vaccination. I did some training work in the run yesterday introducing the very cheeky Fee (Julie Sadlers hairy boy) and Mags and it is going really well, gaining confidence daily 🙂 As we now have sectioned off a small part of the sand run for introductions this helps massively. We will keep you posted later with news from our busy little kennels!
