2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Today was one of those days when you seem to be on the go constantly but don't seem to accomplish much! An early start saw Ruth take Treaty off to the Vet for his castrate, so with no volunteers I did my chambermaid duties for all the boys & girls! There were lots of health checks to do, which kept me out of mischief during the morning! Jet's new family came to visit her on her birthday, they are so excited about taking her home next week. The best news of the morning though was seeing Diddy trot happily off to his foster home - fingers crossed for this gorgeous boy. Kenny brought his new Mum in for a visit - he is looking great and is doing very well, he is a much loved boy. We had some helpers this afternoon so the boys and girls managed to get a walk, although the heavens opened on the last trip and soaked everybody!! We had a few rumbles of thunder too, but it soon passed over thankfully. Work on the sand run is progressing well, and with our new kitchen and the extension to the cat room under construction, we are really excited to see the improvements to our facilities up and running. The weekend is upon us again, we have viewings booked so fingers crossed please that we can send some more boys and girls out to start a new life and make way for some newcomers to start out on their path to the future. As it's Friday it must be wine day!! A nice glass of red tonight I think as it's gone cool and dull. Happy weekend all. Angie xx
