Ruth, with you he had 12 1/2 fantastic years full of love and adventures. He couldn't have had a better mom. He will always be part of Daybreaks and will now keep his eye on everything from the brightest star in the sky. Sending you and Andy all our love. Xxx

Ruth, I am so very sorry to hear your sad news about Foxy, I never met him but from reading all the comments he sounded quite a character, I know only too well how you must be feeling, but your boy is now pain free and playing with all our other angels who have crossed Rainbow Bridge, be strong and try to focus on all the love and good time you have shared, much love from us to you xxxxxx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Picture This---2 small furry creature hating Greyhounds and a suicidal cat trapped after trespassing into our small conservatory through an open door. Guess who ended up at the vets. Yes you guessed Fat neck Finn. !!! The cat had bit his ear and muzzle (Nina waited outside as both could not get through the door) before rushing past him out of the door past the getaway driver Nina and off down the garden unscathed !!! Cleaned the wounds and put some antiseptic treatment on what looked like a tiny wound in the ear. Luckily I had booked a vet appointment because suddenly it became very tender and so off to the vets we went this am. Temp was 40 and he is now on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory. 2 hours after he he had the medication the abcess burst, funnily on the outside of the ear. He seems more comfortable but not eating as much, so definately not himself. Poor lad is now frightened to go in the conservatory. No doubt the cat is NOT lol

We are so sad for you Ruth, foxy was Daybreaks elderly statesman and everyone will miss him terribly. Take some comfort from all the happy memories you must have, we will always remember him at the birthday party when he was a true party king enjoying going round everyone pinching any food he could and flirting with the girls, priceless. Run free at the bridge no longer in pain xx

2019 Daybreaks Diary!

Hi, need to spend some time reading the diary! With regards to photo 9, the spotty tummy, what is this? Trying to find the diary entry. Timmy ( Autumn James) who we adopted in December had exactly this. It’s improved a bit; it’s like dirt that can be squeezed out and a few actual spots. Look forward to finding out! X

I'm so so sorry Ruth. I know exactly how you must be feeling right now. You have done the kindest possible thing for him and the pain you must be feeling reflects how much was loved. Give Katy a big cuddle I'm me. I hope she is good for you xxxx

No words can express how sad i feel for you, but Foxy was a legend and will never be forgotten, so happy i had cuddles with him yesterday, running free now no longer in pain xxx

The saddest news. So very, very sorry, Ruth. Will miss the handsome chap doing his walks round the kennels and keeping an eye on things from his bed in the office. You gave him a fantastic life. Run free Foxy with all your friends at Rainbow Bridge. Xx

Ruth, I am so sorry and heartbroken for you, I know just how special your boy was. I really don't know what else to say just now, apart from he had the most incredible mom and home and knew everlasting love. Oh Foxy - now you can run & play with your pals again free from pain and suffering. Ruth, you are in our thoughts & prayers at this time. Keep those special memories close in your heart - in time you'll be able to look back on them and smile at his antics. I think so many people will miss Mr Foxy pottering at the kennels.
